Online Lessons Terms and Conditions

 

General

 

• All communications regarding booking, rescheduling of lessons, and payments must be conducted through our customer care executives. Jazzrockers cannot be held responsible if communications are made directly with the teachers.
• Jazzrockers reserves the right to cancel a class, course, or event due to insufficient enrolment, unavailability of a teacher or venue, or other reasons beyond our control.
• Jazzrockers' code of conduct and studio policies must be adhered to at all times.
• Please log in to your lessons 5 minutes before your scheduled lesson. If you are late, the teacher cannot extend beyond your scheduled end time to prevent disruption to other students.
• The special offer e-learning package is limited to one package per student.
• E-learning packages cannot be utilized or converted into face-to-face lessons.
• Students are responsible for providing their instrument and required books for the lesson and practicing as needed. Failure to practice or have an instrument and book may impact the student's progress.
• Packages must be completed within the expiry period; no extension can be offered.
• Dance students must only attend classes appropriate to their level and age as directed by the instructor.
• To avoid disruption to the class and other students, studio policies must be adhered to at all times.
• Jazzrockers may take photos and videos during lessons and performances for marketing, social media, and other publications as required.
• Parents/Guardians are requested to come online and meet the teacher of their child 5 minutes before the end of every lesson to be updated on their progress and informed of what they must practice at home.
• Lessons are automatically recorded for the safety and security of students and the quality control of lessons. However, lesson recordings are held securely and will not be sent, used, or published to any external party due to confidentiality and privacy, including to the student.
• Students taking online lessons must meet all minimum requirements for online lessons.

 

Schedule

 

• Lesson timing allocation is subject to availability.
• Lessons will be booked at regular time slots each week for the duration of the package. For lesson time slot changes, submit a request to the customer service team at least one week before the requested schedule change. If the time slot is available, it will be provided.
• The allocation of lesson timings is subject to availability. Kindly contact the customer service team to inquire about the availability of the desired schedule.
• All Dance classes have a maximum capacity for health, safety, and quality reasons. A student must select a class based on availability. Without a fixed lesson schedule, students may not be permitted to participate if the class is at maximum capacity.
• If a student wishes to take an onsite lesson instead of a scheduled online lesson, they must inform and confirm with the customer service team.

 

Fee Compensation & Return/Refund Policy

 

• All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Jazzrockers will be closed during Australian public holidays, which are subject to change. Classes will operate as normal during school half-term holidays.
• Lessons will be booked at a regular time slot each week for the full course ahead. If you wish to change this time, please advise the Customer service officers at least a week in advance, and the lesson will be rescheduled if there is availability.
• Cancellation and freezing of lessons are not permitted. If the class is not attended, it is lost.
• Should a lesson be cancelled by Jazzrockers due to any network issues or a teacher's absence, a replacement lesson will be offered at the earliest convenience during the course dates and cannot be carried forward beyond the package expiry in any circumstances.
• Jazzrockers reserves the right to change the schedule and teachers at any necessary time. The student will be reassigned an appropriate teacher or offered to freeze until their teacher is available again. Refunds will not be given if a teacher leaves.

 

Data Protection

 

• Online lessons are automatically recorded for the safety and security of students and the quality of lessons.
• Online lesson recordings are held securely and will not be sent, used, or published to any external party due to confidentiality and privacy, including to the student.
• Jazzrockers may take photos and videos during lessons and performances for training, marketing, social media, and other publications as required.
• Jazzrockers holds information about its customers to enable Jazzrockers to carry out its business. This information includes customer contact details and student record information. Jazzrockers will not disclose any information to any third party.

 

 

 

 

Governing Law and Venue

 

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Australia, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any claim or dispute between you and Jazzrockers arising in whole or in part from the Website shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Australia. You agree that: (a) the Website shall be deemed solely based in Australia; and (b) the Jazzrockers Website shall be deemed a passive website that does not give rise to personal jurisdiction over Jazzrockers, either specific or general, in jurisdictions other than Australia.

 

Ability to Accept Terms of Service

You affirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and are fully able and competent to enter into this Agreement and comply with its terms.

 

Payment Terms

 

• Monthly fee should be remitted on or before 5th of every month.
• JAZZ ROCKERS follow a monthly payment system and all fee should be paid in advance.
• Compensation classes cannot be carried forward to the coming months. All compensatory lessons should be completed within that month itself.
• Compensation lessons or fee deduction is applicable only if two or more consecutives are missed.
• Please note that no compensatory classes or fee deductions would be made if a child misses one class or randomly numerous classes. Missed classes MUST be consecutive and informed by email in advance at contact@jazzrockers.au.
• Compensation is NOT applicable for the Transportation Fee. Compensation is NOT applicable for the Sunday afternoon batches with 40% discount.
• We maintain commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to ensure your information is treated securely and reliably. Jazzrockers does not collect or store any card details or passwords.
• The offers are eligible for first-time payments only. During the renewal, you will be charged the actual course fee.

General

 

Jazzrockers reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time and without notice, and it is your responsibility to review this Agreement for any changes. Your use of the Website following any amendment of this Agreement will signify your assent to and acceptance of its revised terms.
